Privacy

When you order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address, plus what you bought and what you paid. We keep this because it is the order, and because tax law requires us to keep records of sales.

When you apply for a dealer account: your business name, contact details and the trading information on the application form.

When you just browse: nothing that identifies you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on this site.

We never see your card. Card details are typed on Stripe’s own page and never reach our server. We see the last four digits and whether it worked.

Two, both necessary, neither used to track you across other sites:

• tc_cart remembers what is in your basket, for 30 days.
• tc_session keeps you signed in to a dealer or admin account, for 8 hours.

Because both are strictly necessary for something you asked for, there is no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics, that changes, and so does this page.

• Stripe processes the payment and receives your email and billing details. Stripe is the record holder for card data, not us.
• FedEx receives the delivery address, to rate and then carry the shipment.
• Resend sends our email, so it handles the address a message goes to.

That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Our website and database run on servers in North America, and the services above may process data in the United States. Information held in the US can be reached by US authorities under their law.

Orders and invoices: as long as Canadian tax law requires, which is six years from the end of the tax year they relate to. Dealer applications: for as long as the account is open, and a reasonable period after. Baskets that are never ordered: 30 days.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email turbocentre@yahoo.com or call 905-595-0450 and we will respond within 30 days, as Canadian privacy law requires.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
